Overview
NewsCactus is an online newsroom software - a Web-based content management system for online media rooms. Clients login via an administrative Web page to publish news and information, graphics, audio and video on the Internet. Developed in today's Web 2.0 environment, NewsCactus incorporates RSS and the latest social media links.
The online newsroom solution is hosted on a dedicated, secured server that clients link to using a DNS setting on their Web host. NewsCactus newsrooms are sub-domains of client Web sites (i.e., news.companyURL.com). This nomenclature was selected to keep the URL short and the newsroom page ranking a part of the company's Web site.
Since NewsCactus is a Web-based application, we're able to provide product updates that incorporate client feedback and new feature requests without requiring that clients invest additional time or capital.
NewsCactus is the only online newsroom, also known as a media or press room, developed by an Accredited public relations professional (see praccreditation.org).
Available by monthly subscription for only $199, clients receive a customizable, online newsroom with each keyword-rich page contributing to increased search-engine rankings for companies and organizations, products and services.
NewsCactus sections include: Home, Overview, News Releases, In the News, Multimedia, Press Kits, Key Contacts, Search and Important Links. Clients may upload as many PDF press kits as desired and tailor the appearance of each page with a unique photo-and-caption module (included on the bottom right).
NewsCactus is owned and operated through a joint operating agreement between Codella Marketing LLC and Code Greene.
